They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past the Lyman Greyhounds  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Falcons have posted  since September 11th.
 East River wouldn't go down easily and took Lyman into a fifth set  where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 22-25,  15-9.
