Leading KIPP San Jose Collegiate to victory were Christian Ademe-Johnson and Jonathan Mendoza. Ademe-Johnson dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Mendoza scored 16 points along with seven steals. Mathew Huynh was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Luis Valdez Leadership Academy bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
