Armstrong has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Plum Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Armstrong focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday.
Armstrong posted their closest victory yet this season on Saturday. They skirted past Knoch 48-46.
It was another big night for Jack Valasek, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Szep, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Plum's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 79-55 loss to Northgate might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Plum has suffered yet this season.
Armstrong's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Plum, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-9.
Armstrong beat Plum 48-37 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Will Armstrong repeat their success, or does Plum have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
