Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garden Valley). They blew past the Wilder Wildcats 68-35 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Jesse Morales and Kyevan Gephart certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Morales went 7 for 17 en route to 15 points, while Gephart posted 11 points. Erza Johnson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Garden Valley pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Wilder, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Garden Valley will venture away from home to face off against Cascade at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilder has already played their next match (against Rimrock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
