Laurel came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Dawson County Red Devils as they made off with a 17-6 win. Considering the Locomotives have won five matches by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Laurel's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Dawson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Laurel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Glasgow on the 12th. Dawson County has also already played their next game (against Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
