The Livingston Lions's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past Hardin-Jefferson with a 58-52 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Livingston also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Livingston found their leader in underclassman Ziekus Garner, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Garner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Jatarius Randolph was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Livingston now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Hardin-Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13.
Livingston will be playing in front of their home fans against West Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Fork is coming into the game with five straight losses on the road, meaning Livingston will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Hardin-Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
