Meanwhile, Martin County West's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their tenth straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to Madelia. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game two weeks ago (57), Martin County West still had to take the loss.
Loyola's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Martin County West, they bumped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
