The Graham Local Falcons posted their biggest win since December 13, 2023 on Saturday. Everything went their way against Shawnee as Graham Local made off with a 64-40 victory. Graham Local pushed the score to 59-34 by the end of the third, a deficit Shawnee cut but never quite recovered from.
Emma Yukon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Audrey Larmee, who scored eight points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Graham Local has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Shawnee, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17.
Graham Local will head out on the road to square off against Bethel at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Bethel has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. Shawnee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwestern at 1:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
