It was a proper cat-fight when Lyons duked it out with Proviso West on Tuesday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lyons took both sets by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-6.

Lyons has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Proviso West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Lyons will be playing at home against Glenbrook South at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Proviso West, they will venture away from home to challenge York at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
