The Woodson Warriors can finally bid farewell to their 16-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Bell 49-46. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Woodson has managed all season.
Bell's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Antonio Washington, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cire WIlson, who scored 12 points.
Woodson's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6. As for Bell, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
