The Duxbury Dragons entered their tilt with the Bedford Buccaneers with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Duxbury took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 33-6 victory over Bedford. Considering Duxbury has won five matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Duxbury to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevor Jones, who threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 passes. Zach Falls was another key contributor, picking up 157 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Duxbury's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.8 points per game. As for Bedford, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Duxbury will face off against Somerset Berkley Regional at TBD on Friday. As for Bedford, they will be playing at home against Concord-Carlisle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
