The Booker Tornadoes came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 57-16 win over Southeast. The team accrued 47 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Jsiyah Taylor had a dynamite game for Booker, scoring 13 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakai Peterson, who scored 11 points.
Booker is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Southeast, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
Booker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southeast will square off against the Green Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
