After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Escambia Academy, the Wilcox Academy Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Snook Christian Academy and snuck past 56-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wilcox Academy also won the last time the pair played on January 5th.
Despite the loss, Snook Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Roshad Harris, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That was a full 55.6% of Snook Christian Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Brunson, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Wilcox Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Snook Christian Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-15.
Wilcox Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Snook Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Rocky Bayou Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday.
