Baseball Recap: Bogan Has No Trouble Against Kelly

Bogan lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Kelly, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's match. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Trojans on Saturday. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Bogan let Immanuel Patterson and Elliot Patterson run wild. Immanuel went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Elliot got on base in five of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Bogan is undefeated when Elliot posts two or more runs, but 4-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Ortiz Gutierrez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Bogan and bumps their season record up to 8-6. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 6 runs. As for Kelly, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Bogan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-11 win against King on the 5th. As for Kelly, they have also already played their next match, a 17-1 defeat against Agricultural Science on the 6th.
