David Thibodaux had to endure a nine-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Westgate Tigers 8-1 on Saturday. The Bulldogs not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 12th.

David Thibodaux's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Westgate, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. David Thibodaux will welcome Northside at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westgate, they will square off against Teurlings Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Teurlings Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Westgate surely won't give up without a fight.
