Jenkins scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Gilbert scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Bradford Thompson, who scored six points along with three steals.
Bamberg-Ehrhardt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chanston Crosby, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Eric Parker was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Whale Branch's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
