After flying high against South Lafourche on Friday, Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Erath Bobcats on Friday, falling 18-8. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Erath, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Central Catholic has already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Lake Arthur on the 14th. As for Erath, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-12 win against Port Barre on the 14th.
