After flying high against Fort Worth Christian  on Friday, Trinity Christian came back down to earth. Trinity Christian fell just short of Fort Worth Christian by a score of  2-1 on Saturday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won  19-13.
  Emily Karr was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.
Trinity Christian's loss was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Fort Worth Christian, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
 Coming up,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as Trinity Christian Lions  take on  Hermleigh Cardinals at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hermleigh will roll in looking for their  13th straight  win, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Worth Christian, they will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southwest Christian School at 4:30  p.m.  on April 8.
