Perhaps the best among those players was Kaden Juhnke, who rushed for 50 yards, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Juhnke has posted since back in August of 2023. Jake Cook handled things on the ground, rushing for 82 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Huntley Project can attribute much of their success to Kooper Beard, who picked up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards. Beard was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 69 yards.
The defeat snapped Joliet's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-2 record. As for Huntley Project, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
Joliet will challenge Jefferson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Joliet is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Huntley Project does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
