Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weimar). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Snook Bluejays a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Weimar and bumps their season record up to 3-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-7 Snook and 3-6 Hempstead. As for Snook, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Weimar Wildcats face off against Fayetteville Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weimar will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Snook, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Hempstead on the 7th.
