If Dora wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cordova, they should've done a better job of containing Lexee King. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from King, who had 27 assists and ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Cordova easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16.

Cordova's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lexi Woods, who had eight kills, five digs, and two aces. That's the most kills Woods has posted over her last seven matchups. Amari Hagler was another key player, getting 13 kills.

Cordova has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-16 record this season. As for Dora, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.

Cordova has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Curry on the 4th. Dora has also already played their next match (against Tarrant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
