TEACH's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hayden Judy , who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Harwood , who scored six points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jonathan Ashe, who scored 18 points along with five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ashe has scored at least 25% of Greenbrier Christian Academy's points. Wyatt Hill was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
TEACH's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
TEACH is on the road again on Saturday and play against Norfolk Christian at 4:30 p.m. on December 9th. Norfolk Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than TEACH in Virginia (Norfolk Christian is ranked 101st, while TEACH is ranked 313th). As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they will play host again and welcome Granby, where tip off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Granby will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
