Softball Recap: Revere's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After a string of seven wins, Revere's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Aurora Greenmen by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Minutemen have suffered since April 24, 2024.

Gayle Mishic made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Kelley, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Revere's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Aurora, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Revere will face off against rival Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Aurora is set to square off against their familiar foe Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
