Last Friday, Geraldine/Highwood put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against North Toole County as the team secured a 78-43 victory. The win was familiar territory for Geraldine/Highwood, who now have six in a row.
After a string of four wins, Stanford/Geyser/Denton's good fortune finally ran out. They took a serious blow against Big Sandy, falling 31-66. The state rankings had actually given Stanford/Geyser/Denton a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Geraldine/Highwood's victory lifted them to 6-1 while Stanford/Geyser/Denton's loss dropped them down to 4-2. We'll find out if Geraldine/Highwood can add another positive mark to their record or if Stanford/Geyser/Denton can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Geraldine/Highwood's step.
