After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin Regional, Kiski Area was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the McKeesport Tigers as they made off with a 16-9 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cavaliers considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Aubrey West made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one RBI.
