They were the victim of a tough 41-21 loss at the hands of the Coyotes. Stephenville's defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
Stephenville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ryan Gafford, who threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Anna's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ziondre Williams led the charge by throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Jacob Emmers was another key contributor, picking up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Stephenville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Anna, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
Stephenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Anna is on the road again on Friday and play against Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. Decatur has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 233 points over their last five matches.
