Elliott Murphy Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Powhatan got the W thanks in part to Elliott Murphy playing the best football he has all season. Murphy rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes.

John Washington Dazzles in Huguenot Win
John Washington was instrumental in extending Huguenot's winning streak to six on Friday. Huguenot Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Linwood Johnson
Huguenot picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Linwood Johnson. Johnson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes.
This season, Johnson has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 151.7 passing yards per game.

Chapman Jr. Came Up Big in Midlothian's 59-0 Win
Dk Chapman Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 56 yards.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Midlothian, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Chapman Jr. and Midlothian will play host again on Friday to welcome Powhatan, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m.
