The Edgewood Warriors put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Harvey, posting a 62-20 win at home. Edgewood has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 30 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Katie Mccollister, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Annie mae Johnston was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Edgewood's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Harvey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Edgewood will head out on the road to square off against Andrews Osborne Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harvey, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Riverside at 2:45 p.m. Riverside has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three contests.
