After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cherokee, the Paulsboro Red Raiders were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They snuck past Gloucester City with a 47-43 win. This was payback for Paulsboro, who suffered a 54-53 loss the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Gloucester City still got an impressive performance from Ryan James, who scored eight points. Kevin Wall was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Paulsboro's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Gloucester City, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.
Paulsboro will head out on the road to challenge Haddon Township at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gloucester City, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Haddon Heights at 5:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
