It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Liberty Baptist Academy Knights ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past Mountain View Christian 46-44. This was payback for Liberty Baptist Academy, who suffered a 43-35 loss the last time these two teams met.
Liberty Baptist Academy was led to victory by Brandon Kiel and Bruce Delgado. Kiel scored eight points along with ten rebounds and three steals, while Delgado scored seven points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that Kiel pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Duran, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Liberty Baptist Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Mountain View Christian, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
