Despite the loss, St. Mary's Academy still got an impressive performance from Nick Whitehead, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Whitehead continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Isaac Engholm, who scored 14 points along with five assists.
St. Mary's Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Washington, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
