Friendship Collegiate Academy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Archbishop Carroll Lions by a score of 56-46. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Friendship Collegiate Academy found their leader in sophomore Jonae McKnight, who went 8 of 11 on her way to 22 points and three steals. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for McKnight. The team also got some help courtesy of Miyazia Harris, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points and three steals.

Friendship Collegiate Academy moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Archbishop Carroll, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friendship Collegiate Academy will take on Thurgood Marshall Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Archbishop Carroll and James Madison will round out the year against one another at at 11:20 a.m. on Monday. Archbishop Carroll is facing James Madison at the right time seeing as James Madison is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
