Gig Harbor won against Capital on Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Everything went the Tides' way against the Timberline Blazers as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Tides have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Gig Harbor's third in a row) raised their record to 20-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Timberline, they moved to 10-9-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gig Harbor will welcome Fife at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Timberline, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Yelm at 4:00 p.m.
