Abington Heights is 9-1 against Delaware Valley since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Comets will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Abington Heights is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
Abington Heights' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Wallenpaupack Area 11-0. The Comets not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4, 2025 (when they won 15-0).

Nick Bradley made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Abington Heights' success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 4-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Bradley was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Abington Heights got a massive performance out of Finn Goldberg, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Goldberg has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Noah Kayal, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Abington Heights kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wallenpaupack Area only managed one.
Meanwhile, Delaware Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against North Pocono, falling 10-3.
Delaware Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Hawke, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Liam Onofry was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Abington Heights' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4. As for Delaware Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Abington Heights got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Delaware Valley by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
