Ben Taylor Turns in Season-Best Effort
Airline was led to victory by Ben Taylor, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Taylor threw for 573 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 71.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for four or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Taylor and Airline will welcome Parkway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Panthers, probably because Taylor had a solid game then too: he threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
