The Barringer Blue Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by East Orange Campus at home and fell 38-0. Barringer lost against East Orange Campus in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 38-0 score last time.
Kyree Fisher continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for East Orange Campus, throwing for 351 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 126 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Shakur Taylor was another key contributor, picking up 241 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Barringer's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 17.8 points per game. As for East Orange Campus, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-7.
Barringer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Orange Campus also has no future games currently scheduled.
