Basketball Recap: Central Valley Beats Nazareth Prep for Their Third Straight Victory

Central Valley had won two straight games and Wyatt Clark did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Nazareth Prep Saints 78-51 for which the team can thank Clark, who went 8-for-14 on his way to 22 points and six boards. He has also also been stellar as far as three-point shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season.

Central Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Nazareth Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Central Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-11 victory against Beaver Falls on the 9th. As for Nazareth Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Union Area at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th.
