Softball Recap: Licking Wins Going Away Against Conway

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plato, Licking was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Conway Bears. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 14-10 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Allie Medlock, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Halee Clayton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

The victory got Licking back to even at 1-1. As for Conway, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. As for Conway, they will face off against El Dorado Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
