Triton is 7-2 against Harnett Central since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Triton Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harnett Central Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Triton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 32-20 to Overhills.
The losing side was boosted by Javon Cowan, who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Harnett Central didn't have quite enough to beat Pine Forest on Thursday and fell 10-7. That's two games in a row now that Harnett Central has lost by exactly three points.
Triton's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Harnett Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
