The Bradford Red Devils will be playing at home against the Middleton Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradford is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Back in January, Bradford was beaten by the Lions 57-28. While losing is never fun, Bradford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 367th, while the Lions are ranked 154th).
Meanwhile, Middleton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clarksburg 75-37 at home. With Middleton ahead 43-17 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Middleton found their leader in underclassman Kemora Buggs, who scored 17 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. Buggs continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ro'naia Talley, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Bradford dropped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Middleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
