Given Southview Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Fayetteville Street Christian is ranked 402nd), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Shining Light Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Southview Christian, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 8-2 record.
