Smith Vocational/Smith Academy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Palmer on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The teams both are strolling into their game after big wins in their previous games.
Smith Vocational/Smith Academy took their match against Pathfinder RVT two weeks ago by a conclusive 30-6 score. Smith Vocational/Smith Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Palmer have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Pathfinder RVT 47-0. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (41) and coasted on those for the win.
Their wins bumped Smith Vocational/Smith Academy to 2-2 and Palmer to 1-4. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
