The Spur Bulldogs suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Paducah 63-30. Spur was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.
Leading Paducah to victory were Jakyen Wright and Maverick Monroe. Wright scored 18 points, while Monroe scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Monroe scored 15 or more points. Ethan Garabaldi was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Spur's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Paducah, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spur will take on Guthrie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Guthrie is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Paducah, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Motley County at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th.
