Poway has won nine straight games at home, while Mission Hills has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Titans will welcome the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Poway 2.5, Mission Hills 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Poway's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against San Pasqual by a score of 5-0.

Mya McGowan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Sophia Burmeister was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Alyssa Menges was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Mission Hills sidestepped San Marcos for a 9-8 win.
Like Poway, Mission Hills also got a great game from a two-way player: Leah Llamas. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Llamas has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lillian Sengsouly, who went 2-for-6 with three runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Dimmick, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Mission Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Poway, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Poway hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mission Hills struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Poway might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Mission Hills in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Titans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
