It's playoff time, and Chipley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Jay Royals with a sharp  3-0 win on Tuesday. The  victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
 While Chipley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23,  25-20.
 Alaina Finch paced Chipley's offense, picking up eight kills. Finch got some help from  Cheyenne Risinger and her 22 assists. Risinger also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Jazlynn Risinger, each putting up three.
Chipley's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Jay, they moved to 22-5 with that  loss, which also ended their six-match winning streak.
 Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Chipley and Liberty County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 10:00  a.m.  on Tuesday. Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
