Grant came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Orchard View Cardinals a 15-0 shutout. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Grant pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Orchard View, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Grant will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair will be back at it again later today.
