 On the hitting side, Solon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Colleen Krzywicki, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run.
As for Perry, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

 In other batting news,  Arianna Rogers was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Sophie Sivon also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solon will head out to  challenge Hudson  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Perry, they will challenge Edgewood at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
