There's no place like home for Central Kitsap, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Silas Rams on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-3 win. Considering the Cougars have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Savvy Paulson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Scarlett Mabe was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ava Day, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Central Kitsap kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Silas only managed six hits.
