Ohio Heritage recap September 17, 2013
Cedarville scaled the state rankings by moving to 406 from 496 this week, the biggest jump in Ohio Heritage. The Indians were able to make move up by beating Dayton Christian 31-12.
West Liberty-Salem took down Riverside 45-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Trent McIntyre and Trent McIntyre gave Triad a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. McIntyre threw for 190 yards and 4 touchdowns, while McIntyre ran for 157 yards. Chaz Adams also contributed to the rushing game with 82 yards on the ground.
McIntyre and McIntyre gave the Cardinals a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week.
McIntyre was the best running back in the league this week.
Dalton Caudill was the best receiver in the league this week as Greeneview topped East Clinton. Caudill racked up 5 receptions for 101 yards. Klay Partin helped Greeneview's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 88 yards.
Chance Frye provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Rams bested the Astros. He completed 15 passes for 305 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 122 yards.
He was 14-27 with 1 interceptions.
McIntyre put up the best numbers in passing as Triad bested Fairbanks. McIntyre's favorite target this week was Tre McIntyre, who caught 6 passes for 92 yards.
Payton Printz's team's McIntyre and McIntyre have formed a dream team this season, leading Ohio Heritage in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback McIntyre has thrown for 852 yards this season, while McIntyre has 20 catches for 370 yards. Mechanicsburg's Aeryton ERWIN leads the league in rushing yards with 399.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Cedarville takes on Greeneview. The Indians are currently in fourth, while Neal Kasner's team is in third.
The Indians led the league in scoring this week by notching 54 points on Waynesfield-Goshen. Kaleb ROMERO threw for 35 yards and ran for 93 yards during the win.
