LEAD Academy was led to victory by Balin Gaines and Anthony Petway. Gaines scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Petway scored 15 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals. The matchup was Petway's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Michael DeChabert was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
LEAD Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Valor College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
